About
Liam Bohan writes, sings, plays, and mixes every note of his music himself.
He started classical piano at seven; at twelve he took second in the world in piano accompaniment at the Fleadh Cheoil — Irish traditional music's world championships — and won Mid-Atlantic titles with his céilí band. At eighteen he picked up the guitar, and within a year he was writing songs in his dorm room in Cleveland, coming back from class to chase melodies.
His first single, “The One” (2026), was recorded and mixed entirely in BandLab. His debut album, Chasin a Feeling (October 9, 2026), goes further: thirteen songs that roam across indie rock, indie pop, R&B, and beyond, all following one story — betting on love, losing the fantasy, and finding peace as life keeps moving. Every instrument played, every vocal sung, every mix printed by Liam alone. The genre shifts song to song; the voice and the hands don't.
On stage he fronts The Liam Bohan Band with friends he's played beside since school-band days — two-hour sets at breweries, farmers' markets, and ice-cream shops in New Jersey, plus Battle of the Bands and Springfest stages in Cleveland. This fall the songs travel with him to Madrid.
